I am just getting ready to try out this pattern. It fits you so well I'm now anxious to get started on it. I like the strap width very much.

Rhonda, it looks wonderful! Time to go dig out my copy of this pattern. MaryBeth, I think you are my sewing twin separated at birth -- you always make things I'm about to make or want to after seeing yours!

Lovely tank top with a nice fit. Sounds like one I need too.

Jennifer, yes the neck and armsyes both have a band that is folded in half and sewn to the edge, turned up then and top stitched. I'm not so sure how this would look in some fabrics, but my woven stripe looked really great using this method to finish the edges. There are 1/4" SA, so if you wanted you could probably serge and turn under the edge for an even faster version. Or, from what I've seen in the shops this summer, just serge and leave it go at that! Oh, and the straps are a bit cut in, so I'll probably add lingerie guards to keep the underwear under cover.

Great fit and nice looking tank. I am envious. My tanks are too low under the arm, too low neckline, etc. May have to give this one a try.

Great job, Rhonda. That is a great fit, including the armscye (always a tricky point with tank-styles). I still haven't bought a Jalie pattern. The evidence is piling up that I really should.
