Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Mostly
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes. I recommend reading them before starting which I didn't.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The many many sizes makes it slightly difficult to cut out if, like me, you don't want to cut off any sizes from the pattern.
Fabric Used: Mystery vintage knit in a blue floral 60s style
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I only had JUST enough fabric to make this up as a test run. I could only cut 2 short sleeves instead of 4 to self line them. I also ended up cutting one sleeve along the opposite grain. It sits slightly weird. Still good enough to wear but kind of wonky.
TOP VERSION #2
My second version is made with some sort of wool knit with a self-stripe. Again I was pressed for fabric so cut the back in two halves. Having a centre back seam doesn't cause an issue provided you pay attention making sure that you make it the right size to fit the collar in.
The square-ish neckline can make this top hard to wear so I definitely recommend sewing the bolero section near the armpit to the main body of the top. I tried pinning and sewing but when I put it back on again it had all shifted. Best way I found is to stitch it down while wearing it. A bit different to do on your dominant side but not awful.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and yes. I want to make the short sleeve version properly and the long sleeve version. Next time though I will add about 2-3 inches at the bottom. I made size F and found it slightly short.
