This jacket looks fantastic!! you did a wonderful job with all of the details! And I totally hear ya on the collar issue, but I think if you try a few more you'll have the technique nailed down!

Congrats on finally finishing the jacket! That's really impressive. :) I love the lines of this, especially the rounded curves on the front and the gathers. Are those covered buttons? If so, it's a nice touch.
