Looks like you've got the "paw" print of approval there! Sharon, I've also used bean bag beans as a filler.

I've heard some people use a plastic bag inside and fill it with saw dust chips

Thank you treefrog and arianamaniacs for the tips on fillings, I'm not promising Roscoe any time soon he will get a new outside bed, the raincoat is next on the list as we are getting ready for our spring showers :)
