I actually have this in my files and have looked at it many times .. my brother wants a messenger bag and I thought it would be an ideal size to take to work, minus the side pockets .. Great review. I'm glad to know someone has made it and it worked well!!

This is such a cool bag--the wipeable interior fabric will come in very useful! Thanks for the review. This is a very stylish diaper bag that could easily be used as a book/messenger bag. I can't believe it was easy--it looks really complicated!

Great job! Good idea to cut the buckram smaller so you didn't need to sew it. The vinyl inside will help with cleanup, etc, if something spills. What about magnetic snaps for the pockets? You make this sound easy, but most bags are challenging -- for the sew-er and the machine! You did a wonderful job.
