Too bad this didn't work out for you,it sounds like it isn't a very good pattern. It's a lovely fabric, and the jacket looks pretty good in the photo. I hope you can get some wear out of it!

It's a great looking fabric and I like the belt. Is there any way for you to alter it so you can use it? I know how that feels and sometimes it *is* easier to just pass it on.

You did a great job with this jacket despite the pattern flaws. I think I know how you feel, though, sometimes you just don't want to look at it anymore.

I think Vogue often "doctors" their photos and it is very disappointing when our hard work results in a different look. I have learned to study the line drawings and the text descriptions as they seem generally more accurate. This is why PR is so great; we learn from each other. Looks like a nice jacket; one of your friends will be very lucky!

thanks for your review and I'm taking all your experience to heart, after reading all the reviews on this pattern I think I will pass on it and sell it on ebay LOL
