I made two of these for a jr high theatre production. I had to cut the patterns down considerably to fit juniors, but by making muslins for the bodices (which then became the lining) the fittings went pretty smoothly. I did NOT use boning, but used pre-made drapery piping between each bodice segment to provide a little more stiffness.
