I've made this pattern a couple of times for sleeping/lounging pants. I like the fact that it includes pockets, because I will wear these walking the dogs, at the beach or even for a quick run to the market. It takes me considerably longer to make them, because I flat-fell all the seams. The pattern does not allow sufficient fabric to make a casing for two elastic waistbands; I either make just one or add an inch at the top for two. I like the combination of elastic and drawstring, particularly for stepping out into public.
