Cynthia: It only took 14 months! Actual sewing time was probably on the order of 3 Saturday afternoons -- I alternated between the serger for seams and the sewing machine for topstitching, so the detailing didn't add that much time. I lost a lot of time trying to smooth out the bust darts before covering them with pockets -- a thinner fabric or one without stretch (or a better seamster) would probably take less time. And the snaps took about an hour, including figuring out how to use the snap setting gizmo. I was hoping this pattern would stretch my sewing skills, and it did!

wow, that is so much work! three saturdays for one project takes endurance! it's great though. hope you wear it often to get your time out of it.
