Hmm, it looks alright, but it sounds as though you are saying it reminds you of your scout uniform and skirts your 5th grade science teacher wore? Hmm. I'm wondering what kind of style in skirts you prefer. Would a shorter length help, do you think? I wish you could save it, but maybe you can't. Well, onward, other patterns await! (Looks like you did a good job, too!)

If it turned out like the cover photo, then was it just that you decided you didn't like the way the style looked on you? Or was there something about the fit that you couldn't pull off? (To be the pedantic geek everybody knows I am, I must point out that the link you posted was to to junior uniform. At 7 years old, weren't you a brownie?)

...I think I didn't like that it sat too high on my waist. I'm short-waisted, so it's hard for things that sit that high to not make me look a little more..matronly than I would like. I did post a link to a junior uniform. And I was a brownie when I was 7... :) But the junior uniform had the green kick-pleat (when I was in), and the brownie uniform was the jumper...
