I made this one and I was going to leave out the ties too but even while trying it on the sleeves kept sliding. Doesnt happen with the ties on so...Maybe you could put in those strap guards or whatever they call them with snaps to hold your bra straps? I like it a lot too! Might have to make another one, now that I think of it... Edited to add that I can't seem to open your blog link from any of your reviews or your profile. Could you check the url. It might be me but I tried all the links you added and nothing. TIA Edited again to add: Nevermind, it was me...
