Thanks for this review. I am considering making these (or one of the views from this pattern) for myself, and I appreciate the warning about the sizing! If you have (or do) ever make them in leather, I'd love to see a picture!

Thank you for the warning of the sizing! Years ago I tried to make shoes for both my husband and I out of an earlier butterick making history shoe pattern and the largest was too small for him (size 13 men) and the smallest was HUGE on me (size 6 women). Sigh. I'll look at this pattern in hopes that maybe, since the large is really a size 9 womens then maybe the smaller will fit me! Fitting's hard enough without it being that off!
