Oh, this dress looks really adorable! I love the fabric choice. Sounds like you have a future seamstress in the making!

Your dress is cute and your little girl even cuter. You can tell that she really likes it.

I'll catalog this pattern, I have two DD's that would love this... Nice job.

How was sizing? I have a bday party to go to this summer for a 6 yo girl.

Uh oh Mom - watch out - only 6 and making design changes already! That's great though - she knows what she likes and is willing to tell you. She looks adorable in her dress.

Just so everyone knows, this is my 4-yo modeling the dress. My 6-yo was "out of smiles". Oh, and did I mention that she's a drama queen?!? Amy, I think the sizing worked out pretty well. I seem to remember Simplicity always running very large, but I just compared my girls' measurements with the measurements on the pattern. I had a lot to take up in the hem, which I didn't cut off, because I have a feeling they'll be able to wear these next year, if they don't fall apart in the wash. And, my girls are on the shorter side.
