Great dress, and I think the unflattering look when sitting down is due to the zip, they don't bend that way.

Nice dress -- I really like the contrasting zipper that extends into the collar. I've made a zipper-front robe and although the zipper was stiff, I've not had a problem... but it was much looser in the skirt. I would guess the straightness of this dress through the hips is making it ride up when sitting down. In any case, looks like it will be a great dress for summer!

I think you have done a fabulous job with this pattern!!! Absolutely love the red zipper. I do hope you wear it and stop worrying about sitting down.
