Great looking top! I like the idea of not using that second panel in the front (the one under the ruched panel).

I just made this for my daughter this week. It's still on my dummy. She's only 13 weeks, so I'm giving it to her for Christmas for her to grow into. I did use the under panel, so we'll see how much it stretches when needed.

That's the other thing that I'm wondering about with that under panel--will it have as much stretch as the ruched panel alone would? I know not.
