I hope you will get lots of enjoyment from your new blouse. It really is very lovely, and the tuck detail is such a beautiful feature. 12/13/10 9:30 AM

I think she used to have solely plus-sized patterns, then she had her stomach stapled or something, I THINK, and went into regular-sized patterns, too. I'm REALLY surprised that the smaller sizes of this pattern would have so much design ease. To me, the smaller the size, the less ease required. Regardless of all that, you made a SUPER cute blouse, EXPERTLY fitted. 12/19/10 7:41 PM
Lucy in Virginia said... Lovely. FYI: At the Sewing and Quilting Expo, Peggy Sagers of Silhouette Patterns was discussing how sizing has changed over the years. A size 22 used to be about your bone size. Now they're seeing people who are actually a size 6 bone size and structurally in the shoulders, but who in dimensions are a size 22 due to being overweight. I wonder if this is what the Khalia Ali patterns are trying to address, but in sympathy with Simplicity, I don't know how you can say this on a pattern and still be politically correct. 12/22/10 3:33 PM
