I just finished making a dress in this pattern with mixed results. (Review to follow when I wear it and get a picture.) Could you describe in more detail how you did the bias facing? I don't like how the facings will not lay correctly on mine and I'm thinking a solution like yours may be the trick.
Also what dart/bust adjustment did you make?
