Pattern Description:
The Jenny skirt by Burda.
Pencil skirt with high waist band

Pattern Sizing:
EUR 34 - 44

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Easy to understand & follow although not necessary

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked the shape of this skirt, especially for Fall & Winter. It is incredibly figure hugging & flattering.

Fabric Used:
I used a Home Decor fabric purchased in South Africa from a company called Silk & Cotton Company in Johannesburg. I had used it for an interior design project I worked on. Its a very heavy weight fabric which made things a little hard in places but well worth it.
I used a silky poly lining in black

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Like other reviewers of this pattern, I made my muslin with the waist band cut on the bias as they ask however after fitting,I too decided I would cut mine on the straight grain which worked fine.
I also added a back vent rather than just the slit as the pattern suggests.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I would sew this again & look forward to it.

Conclusion:
A great fitting pencil skirt showing off plenty curves. Easy to sew up & highly recommended.
