said... Peggy, are the patterns drafted for tall figures? I have not tried any of these, although the styles look attractive. I think I read somewhere that she drafts patterns for 5'9", but maybe that is incorrect. I like this blouse, but don't want to do major alterations for a petite height. 6/23/02 2:47 PM

The only alteration I did was move the bust point-other than that it just the shortness thing! Actually, I think this might make a good tunic for one of your "salwar kameez" outfits. 6/23/02 3:37 PM

Sherril Miller said... Peggy, I'm getting ready to make this pattern up. I too am a petite plus. I usually sew up a 16 pattern with 18 sideseams and make a bust adjustment for C cup. And, of course, the petite adjustments. What size did you decide to use and how did that work for you?
How is that picture coming along? 1/21/03 11:22 PM
Peggy L said... Sherril - sorry, picture is not coming well. As my children tell me, our family is electronically challenged! I can't remember the size I used -I'll have to look tonight (I'm working!) but I did use the pattern piece for the "c" cup. I got some sheer material yesterday from Sewing Studio. I think I will do the sheer version of this. 1/22/03 12:01 PM

Peggy L said... Ruth - the pattern was designed for no interfacing. I have shrunk out of that top - way better than going the other way!!! Being from the "old school", I probably put a little interfacing behind the buttons & buttonholes. 3/7/03 4:53 PM
