I have been planning to do this myself. I would love to have seen the photo up close!

What a great story and idea! Too bad I already missed those after-Christmas fabric sales!

Hi Becky, this is a great idea. But this review could be confusing to others. Could you please edit your review and change the pattern number/name to Bags and then perhaps share a photo with us? Also some instructions on how you made the bag?

I just recently saw a pattern for such bags on one of the sewing newsletters. They had drawstrings and fancy shapes at the edges. The samples were done in velvets and taffetas with home dec cordings and tassels. They were BEAUTIFUL! I was so tempted to go snatch up some heavily discounted Christmas fabrics to do exactly what you've done. You've inspired me!
