That style looks so nice on you! The wool is such a pretty one and makes such a pretty jacket! Thank you so much for the organza tip and the information on the sizing. I have had this pattern in my stash for such a long time - it's much closer to the top after seeing your version!

Ooooooooo, how PRETTY you look in this jacket and the entire outfit. That fabric really IS gorgeous, made even more so with that sleek lining. As usual, your construction is PERFECT. Great BOOTS, too!

Thank you for all of your very nice comments! The wool was a great quality piece of fabric and a real joy to work with. I have some leftover and plan to make a skirt from it. :)

Beautiful jacket! Looks really well-made, and an excellent review, with styling tips too. Some of the vintage styles are still so wearable, as you show so beautifully in your outfit.

Darling jacket and love the wool choice and bias cut bottom. I do have this wonderful pattern and now will have to pull it and make it for NEXT fall! And thanks so much for taking the time to post all the great photos of the construction...very helpful! Laurie
