It must be Minnesota Men's Shirt Month. I like your plaid flannel. You did a wonderful job of matching and what a good idea to put the placket on the bias to avoid trying to plaid-match that tricky area. According to the Shirtmaking book yours is a good pattern with the yoke being narrow rather than halfway down the back. I'm just telling you that if you're ever in the neighborhood of SR Harris you HAVE to check out the Italian shirting cottons. Love your comment about the "average" guy.

So nice that you found a pattern that fits and pleases your husband so well. The sleeve placket cut on the bias is a good one to remember. Nice work!

What a nice looking shirt! I really like the plaid especially the pockets and plackets on the bias.
