Yes, I've made this one before too, and you are very right about the shapeless nature of the bodice! I used lightweight cotton and it was too much. Your top is very pretty though, and your fabric sounds like exactly what I'd choose to make a peasant top with. Very nice, and good save!

Your top turned out really nice. I'm glad to see you stuck with it and finished it up instead of letting it turn into a wadder. Great save!

I agree completely with your assessment. I may get brave & post my photo (expensive material, disappointing outcome). The finished product is nothing like the envelope. You did an amazing job saving yours!!!
