To sew2little . . . no, bra strap does not show. This is a fantastic little dress for sitting around in the hot weather. To bconky, the front is somewhere between a crew neck and a boat neck and I think it's perfectly in keeping with the style. Beware of large bust with this pattern. If you are full-busted, you may want to lengthen the yoke because the lower edge hits just at bust bottom and has a narrow elastic to keep it in shape. I think this might look odd if it were higher than under-bust.

It's just SO CUTE. I ordered the pattern yesterday and I wasn't sure anymore, but your dress convinced me! It's going on top of my sewing list for this summer!!
