Great skirt -- love the fabric -- thanks for the review! Especially the comment about the hem.

Beautful skirt, Gigi. I've been thinking about getting this pattern because I've been reading that the front seam is supposed to be slimming. I also like topstitching the hem with cotton summer skirts.

Ok now here's ANOTHER one I need :o) I have been wanting to get this one for a long time, I am so glad you reviewed it. Your skirt is really pretty, Gigi, I really like the fabric! I agree about the jeans-style hem too~very annoying!

Very nice. Sounds easy enough, too. The length should be flattering--my problem is that my legs are white and I don't like wearing hose! (But the older I get the less I care about white legs showing!)

Love that fabric! Thanks for the review and tips about the hem. I have never been a skirt wearer because I am short waisted, but now that the style is to wear tops on the outside I can pull it off. I'll have to add this to my list. Penelope, try Neutrogena Instant Bronze (medium) when you need a quick tan. Looks great and is easy to apply!

Nice skirt(s)! Thanks for reminding me about A-lines. Seems like it's been years since I had one, but they're very flattering on many figures.

Gigi, I just finished this skirt in denim, and it turned out great. I used an invisible back zipper and hook and eye. I think its a wonderful pattern. Your skirt is gorgeous!

Gigi, I just ordered this pattern, (along with 7 others) from sewsassy. Can't wait to get them. I love both versions of your skirts.

Your projects always look better than RTW. I'm amazed! What a darling combo of denim and blue snaps, and very versatile too. Bet it would look cute with platform sandals. Your lapped zipper has a cute zipper pull; it's definetly worthy of note. :)

Great skirts. Thank for all the helpful tips. Just noticed I have this pattern and it comes in a longer version (to cover up white legs). Will refer to this review when I sew it. Thanks!

Wow, cute skirt wardrobe! I appreciate the recommendations about directionally fusing the interfacing...sominthing I would otherwise forget about doing.

I love this skirt and just bought it after reading your review. Do you have a source for the snaps?

Maggie, www.snapsource.com is a very good source. I used the size 24 on my khaki skirt.

Hi Gigi, So many times I have looked for your photo accompanying your reviews and they are now missing. Is there a web site that we can go to and see your photos of specific patterns? Your reviews and photos have inspired many subsequent reviewers--so I'd love to see them too! Thank you in advance. Carla
