Well, good to know how pleased you were with the pattern. Sorry you weren't 100% pleased with the top. I, too, have run into unsatisfying results using a heavier quilting cotton, so I've been there! Thanks for the review.

I love the print. Very nice looking top. I agree, quilting cotton is for quilts, unless you find a very soft one. Enjoy the top, it looks great.

Thanks ladies! Yes, I think I've learned my lesson when it comes to quilting cotton. Most of the time it's just not a very nice substrate for garments.
