A great coordinating piece for your new KS 3098 skirt I see.

What a cute tank! I may have to change my mind about buying this one. Do you think the woven tee, with that minimal half-inch of ease, would be more comfortable/workable on the bias?

I really like the added detail that the contrast elastic and bow add to this pattern!

I love your tank, and it looks great! I was just thinking of making a black wrap top with white trimming and know that I see your top I'm going to do it.

Wonderful as usual Gigi. I don't think I would have given this pattern a 2nd look, but I like your comments about coverage. I wear a lot of tank tops in the summer, even if the What not to Wear girls say not to. I figure they can say that because they live in drizzly England:)

Thanks for the great review, Gigi! I never wear tanks either because of all you mentioned, AND the armscyes are usually too droopy. How are they on this tank? I may just have to buy my first L. Hinse pattern.

Totally stunning. I've just read jlg's thumbs-down review of the same pattern. Now I'm really confused!

. . . and I bought the pattern for the dress; now I will have to make the top. It is so hard to find a tank that does all of this. Thanks for the review.

Good review. Sounds like a nice tank top, worth considering.

So, it's NOT as low-cut as the model photo? Good to know! Great top! I like the b/w and the trim. Very crisp looking.

I haven't seen this pattern before. I really like the included dress, with the gather in the front. Very cute. Nice look for your top, also.

This is a beautiful top and helpful review. Like AnneM, I'm attracted to the dress. If I decide to try it, I will carefully study your review and jlg's for insight.

Great tank Gigi! I have made up the tank dress and agree with you, it covers everything. My DH says the tank dress is the best thing I made this summer - suppose I should stop messing around and get a review posted.

It's nice to see an alternative review - in the other that didn't like it I thought the view E was great - and $12 is not too much for such a basic pattern if it's as flattering as this one seems to be.

I *love* the ruffled elastic! So creative! I never thought of ruffled elastic for anything but wrinkly-edge panties that show under clothes :) LOVE IT! Thanks for the tip on sewing in the flat, and in what ratio to apply. That is a big help :)

Okay. It took me a minute but now I understand how sewing it flat is done. Thank you!
