Love your fabric choice!!! I'm in the process of making one of these for my DD. I was wondering if you like the drape of it? I was considering putting pellon fleece on the body of the bag. What do you think... too much?

Nice first pattern review. I got a kick out of reading it, even though I won't be making one. It is very odd how many layers some patterns ask you to sew through! You found a good work around, though. (I have an industrial machine and that is exactly why I got one.) You made a nice gift.

Bagabon, I'd test the fleece. Add up how many layers you'd have and test it with your machine. I think it would be nice and maybe with the bound edge on the top. That's the only place where the thickness would be a problem. Sis
