I am considering making this pattern to pair with the Textile Studio Brussels Skirt. What type of fabric did you use. I am considering a mid weight knit. Would that be too heavy.

SLEEVE: I agree on the sleeve lack of roominess. I liked that there was not a lot to ease from the sleeve cap into the armscye, but wanted more room to reach. FABRIC: I have made this jacket 4 times. Heavier slik tweed, Duppionni, loose weave cotton and heavy, drapey rayon. I think all worked very well (though the duppionni was a plaid and I goofed it up). They are all different, but I like them all.
