I think this is a great skirt. So the alteration you made was on the second skirt, you eliminated the godets? Sorry, just a little confused ;-)

Your comments make me laugh - i'm currently at the point where no one really believes I sew because despite my enthusiasm for it, i never seem to wear many finished projects...many are destined for the trash! but I will keep trying like you did! thanks for your review - i'll keep your tips in mind when i make this skirt myself!

I like your altered skirt! Looks very nice, the stripes are good with this pattern-very unique. I was looking at your other pics, and saw that twisted front white blouse-Did you make that? It looks like a vogue pattern. I would love to read a review on that, too, if you did indeed make it :o)
