Sorry you had so much trouble with this pattern. I have made this doublet and coat pattern 4 times, the pants 5 times and the shirt 5 times. I agree that the shirt should be longer so that I have changed. I love the pants pattern. It is so much fun to make and they look good. Most of the mens patterns don't even have pants patterns included.
