It IS adorable! So sorry you had so much trouble with the snap tape. I've never used it but about to as I will soon begin sewing for my grandson. I'm kinda nervous. Tape vs snaps? Any/all advice welcome. Instead facings, you might want to consider cutting identical pieces to fully line it and sorta/kinda make it reversible. That would also reinforce the crotch area with double fabric. Just a thought.
