I did not mention this in my own review as I half-and-half thought it was just my DH's quirk of pulling things up higher than they comfortably go, but I think you are right: the rise of these pants is indeed somewhat low. However, despite that minor flaw, this pattern is a winner -- maybe just a tad helped by the insanely cold weather -- 'cause he has requested to make him a second pair ;) PS: you "Note to family" made my day! :D
