Very cute top! The top looks like it fits you nicely in the pics. I love the gingham..... has a nice retro look about it.

I know what you mean about the ties, not a great place for it, are the ties long enough to criss cross in the back then go around to the front and tie, can you extent them with more fabric. it looks very nice otherwise, the gingham fabric looks soft.

Unfortunately, the ties aren't long enough to double to the front or side. I've tried! :) anyway, guess I'll just wear my hair up with this top! :)
