The bias tape makes it pop. I love when a mistake turns out better than the original.

I looked through your Flickr site of children's clothing and found each and every creation adorable. You have quite a knack for fabric combinations and darling details, not to mention perfect craftmanship. Great clothes; I wish I had a little one to sew for.

I want to thank you all for your lovely comments! This makes my day and makes me want to sew more! :) Karendee, yes, to me putting fabrics together is a huge part of the process. I love playing with them and imagining how they will look together. To be honest, I don't sew for my kids. Boys I find hard to sew for, my girl has a ton of hand-me-down clothes so she definitely doesn't need more! :) I sew for their friend's birthdays, etc. That's the perfect excuse.
