I'm impressed that you can take a contour yoke pattern and substitute it for the straight waist on these shorts!!! They look great. Your pockets are also perfection--I sewed similar shorts to these during Stash Contest and my pockets don't look nearly as good as these! So great work and congratulations on only your second review!

Thanks all for the nice comments! Renren I had no problem substituting a contour waistband for the original straight waistband. I'm working on the pants now in a fabric with a little more stretch to it, and think I may have to do deeper seam allowances or they will be too large. Love this pattern so far!!
