Cute pants! Since you didn't have to make any alterations and sewed size 12, I really hope you can share your measurements (waist, hips) since I think that would be the size I'd choose to (I'm 5'4" - close to you, n'est-ce pas?). Thanks.

persevering, thanks for the feedback. My waist/hips are 27/36. The sizing measurements for Simplicity size 12 are 26.5/36, so pretty close fit.

Thank you very much. Your kindness in sharing this info helps me understand that i definitely would need to alter this pattern to get a good fit. I guess it should have been clear to me before. Anyways, I just have to accept that this is a challenge I need to overcome in order to sew anything. Thanks again.
