I have made many panties from Kwik-Sew pattern 2930, a plus size pattern and I really love them. So much more comfortable than what I buy. And, because it's easy, you can make 4-5-6 pairs in a day. What fun. I love the blue pair with the red elastic. And what a great idea to use old t-shirts. I use old white t-shirts for the crotch lining and that works well too.

Cute panties! I'm working on undies from that pattern today too. Where did you ever find the VS elastic? Also, a hint for the elastic using the KS instructions: Use a MUCH bigger seam allowance, stitch ends together with RS facing, then finger press open and machine sew a square around the join to keep SAs flat, then trim off the extra SA. Much easier to work with a big SA and trim later.

I'd love to know where you found that VS elastic, too. I have some underwear from VS (very much like what you've made, actually), that I've owned forever--it's the only underwear I can remember in which the fabric wore out while the elastic is still like new.
