What a great review! Thanks for the photos of the FBA, I have recently made Kwiksew 3120, another raglan top, and wasn't real sure about the FBA. You can read what I did in my review of this pattern. It certainly wasn't as elaborate as yours because I just made it up as I went along!!! Now with your photos, I won't have to do that anymore! Thanks, your top looks great!

Thanks for this review and the comparison to 2306! I had been scared off by the width of the neckline in the drawing and am relieved to find out it is more of a scoop. Your top looks great.

Your top looks very good. Thanks for the great review. I have FFRP, but your pictures of the FBA and removing the excess fabric out the side seam are an enormous help to me. Thanks again.

Debbie, the top looks great on you. You look lovely in these colors. It's good to see that the neckline is not as wide as the pattern envelope shows.

Thanks for the review. I think, at least in the photo, the colors look good on you. Of course, it could look diff. in real life. The top looks great.

What a great review Debbie. I was looking forward to it. Even though I have 2306 ;-) Makes me wonder how many patterns have I not tried just because the photos on wrongly depicted in the catalogue. The top which the model is wearing has a pretty wide neckline too, but I trust your opinion more than hers ;-) This is a winner I think!

Debbie, you are so quick! thanks for making both of these up and reviewing them so thoroughly. I have both patterns and they are on the LONG to do list. Now I know I can use the piece from the older pattern for the short sleeve. I love those colors on you. . .

That skirt/top combo is a winner. Is the skirt new? I can't tell you how much I appreciate the pics on the FBA. This was giving me such a block to making the FBA on t-shirts. If I have to add to the hips, does it matter if I do it before or after the FBA?

I wish I had read this earlier today. Your photos on moving dart to side seam was and is very helpful.I made another KS top today needing an FBA and had quite a bit to take off from the side and your photos truly help understand how to do that. Meanwhile I have sewed, trimmed and sewed some more to get the right fit. Printed your photos and have them posted in my sewing room

Great looking top, I love the colors on you. I appreciate your review of this as I have also been thinking about getting this pattern but didn't like the wide looking neckline.

You are making some great tops...in spite of some fabric glitches. Thanks for another thorough review. Many, many helpful tips and illustrations. Thanks for the illustrations for the fba for raglan sleeves, too.

Wow, you certainly tamed this fabric...I found the skirt, cut so the ribbing runs horizontally and the stripes vertically, much better behaved. It's actually feels very good all day long and doesn't stretch out. Your review here is such a valuable contribution to the community. What a dear person you are! You actually look quite beatuiful in these colors.

Thanks for the excellent review. I'm glad to hear the neck opening isn't as wide as it looks on the pattern envelope. I just got this pattern yesterday and hope to get to it this weekend.

Debbie, I love your directions on the FBA, I'm never sure exactly how to do that but your directions make it perfectly clear. I wanted to ask if the neck binding on this tee is as wide as the one appears to be on 2306, that binding is so appealing to me. Of course I can't get my hands on 2306 but I'm still looking. I LOVE all your reviews, I have learned so much from reading them!!

Thanks everyone!! This was a fun review to do since it was a direct comparison. Liane, yes, the ribbing is the same width as 2306. I haven't measurement them with a ruler, but my eye tells me they are very close, if not exact.
