isakswings said... Thanks! Stacie... making them with a standard machine is easy. I've only had my serger for 2 months. I did borrow a serger for a bit last year, but I did not use it a lot. Since purchasing my own machine, I have been making a lot of skating clothes. I think it is easier to make the dresses with a serger, but making them with a standard machine is absolutely doable and not hard. :) 5/1/11 11:06 PM

Doing that will create a much stronger seam. Kwik sew only reccomends a zig-zag stitch and sometimes you could see the stitching after the garment was worn.
