Looking really good! I should review mine too (I love it! )... :) Did you shorten the flounce - it looks longer in the picture? Also, did you make a smaller size because of using a knit?

Wow. That skirt is so special! Regarding the elastic length, I've been confused by KS's elastic instructions--different patterns call for different lengths for the same waist size! I'm not sure, but possibly it has something to do with whether the elastic is inserted in a casing and not sewn (as much anyway)... or sewn, zigzagging onto the fabric , one or more times. I believe I read that stitching makes elastic expand and become less stretchy.

What a great style for you. I wouldn't have guessed that was done with this pattern, based on the pattern drawings. Glad your asymmetrical version worked out for you as well.

Great skirt! Wonder what would happen if you were to wear this with the famous boobalicious top (Simplicity 5255)? Might should be a law against it. ;-)

Katherine, does your skirt have slits in the side seams as the pattern description says? I can't tell from the photo. If so, do you like them?
