Jules/Vancouver BC said... Nikki, it really is easy - excluding the ears, tail and heart applique, the body is only two pattern pieces - two sides and one bottom. If it wasn't for the embroidery, it would probably take about 10 minutes to sew and stuff these little fellas - maybe 15. 8/24/04 9:11 PM
kneeraye said... I agree about the ears. I just got done making the puppy and tore out the ears because they were not at all in the right place. I think they are suppose to go in the seams on the sides of the head, that is what appears in most of the illustrations and the photograph on the front of the pattern. If I left the ears where they said to place them, the puppy appeared to look like a bunny with short ears. After I moved them to the seam on the side of the head they look much better, but I can't help to think that probably isn't the right place for them either. I will attempt to make the other animals and hopefully will have better luck. I also stuffed the nose area before I embroidered his nose, it seemed to help, but got just a little lop-sided...I guess that is just what will make him special! 7/17/08 6:21 PM
