You know this is really cute. I am with you on the ruffles thing. Feel ridiculous in them. However, since you are 'straight lines and edgy', the subdued ruffles on this dress might bring you to the edgy category. I like it WITH the ruffles. Looks really good on you!

I'm surprised you successfully used a knit for this pattern... it looks great. I think the ruffles add something; especially being in a non-traditional location (not aligned with some edge), I don't think of it as too girly. I also love your fabric color and pattern choice.

Very pretty dress. I like it with and without the ruffles. I never would have thought of using a knit for this pattern. It turned out great.
