Barb - They look great, and so comfy for guys. I will use this technique to copy some lycra mens' swim liners (worn under boardshorts) to prevent chafing. I have a pair to copy, but did not want to pierce the delicate lycra with my needlepoint tracer. They are similar to these undergarments, and the seams are carefully placed to avoid chafing the tender parts. Thanks for the wonderful tip!

Of course, every boy should have underwear made by his mother! At least, my boys think so. Did you make the leg bands 1:1, or did you stretch the band fabric? And no elastic in that part, right? Also, how did your son's actual thigh m'ment compare to the width in that area of your pattern? I need to make some new unders for one of my sons. He likes the longer legs on his RTW, but they bunch up (too loose), so I need to make his next supply.
