Glo - Did you use the pattern size that your measurements fall in to? A lot of us have found that KS is cut generously and that we have to use a smaller size. What was your experience with this pattern?

Karla - My bust measurements were in one category and my waist and hips fell in between that and the next category. I tapered the cutting lines up to the next size between the bust and waist. I didn't really need to do that and could have stuck with the smaller size. However, I like my tops roomy when they button because I have a C cup and snug shirts tend to gape. For my next go I'll stick with the smaller size.

Yep, this fits you much better than the Vogue!

Glo -- Your detailed information about facings, interfacings, and bindings is VERY useful -- thanks! I'm just beginning to realize that those behind-the-scenes details determine whether I'll love a garment as much as, or even more than, the overall fashion silhouette. I hate the facing method you describe in Vogue 7429. And your blue and white fabric is very pretty!

Perfect fit, beautiful fabric. Any chance the fabric is still available? I would buy it in a hearbeat if I could.

Glo, your blouse came out beautifully! You are right on about the facing directions and the bias bound armholes, which are very clever.

Thanks everyone! I really like this blouse too. Teri, the fabric was sold by Fabric.com in several colors. I just checked and it is still available in Tawny and Taupe. It is called Constanza and it is a linen/rayon blend.
