I don't think your fabric is garish at all--perfect for a pop of color and an interesting bag! I have two amy butler bag patterns, even bought all the right interfacing but have been putting off sewing b/c of some trepidation with wrangling all the interfacing/cording/lining etc. Your bag looks great!!

Nice bag. Interesting . . . your models do not seem to be as compliant outdoors as in the house. Probably their dog nature overrides their instinct to please you and it is telling them this is not normal! (And they get to "chase" Orlo through the gallery--what fun!)
