Hi, sewman100. In the website materials area you will find a blue underscored sentence "find free directions to draw the pattern pieces here". Poke at it. Basically it says using a grocery bag, you need to cut out a circle with radius 7" or 14" diameter across. Cut the circle in half and insert 5" in the middle. You now have your pattern for the bottom (floor) part of the cat bed. Now fold this pattern piece in quarters and add 2" to each straight side and you have your pattern for the top part of the cat bed. http://sewing.about.com/od/homedecprojects/ss/How-To-Make-The-Base-Pattern-Pieces-To-Sew-A-Pet-Bed.htm

He looks so comfy! It looks to be a perfect size. My little ingrates seem to prefer their fabric uncut, but I'll try this one..

Yes, indeed, you "play well with fabric," and now Smokey can, too! Or at least "Sleeps well with fabric." Cool pattern, cool fabric, cool cat!
