Thanks! Renren, the tightness shows up mainly if I put my hands in the pockets or when I sit down. So, next time I might go up a size in the hips for that, unless I used a fabric with some stretch.

You got a great fit. I'm particularly noticing the back view because there is no tightness across the lower hip and bottom, which is a problem in RTW for me. And the topstitching is perfect. (I just read the complete review about how you feel the shorts are a little tight through the hips and you might need to go up a size. Also, ha ha, about the "drooped seat" (lovely, Leichty et al., thank you, thank you). Hmm interesting about taking the pockets to center front and the use of the fusible weft. No wonder these look as good as RTW and fit better than RTW. Great review!
