Lovely! I made this jacket in a dark blue linen lined in dupioni silk. It has great movement and sits well! I actually really like the collar. I think the only thing that drove me nuts was the excessive interfacing on the sleeve bottoms, on both the outside and the facings. It was too thick and I ripped the facing off of one side on each arm and then it was better. I agree that at spots there was a lot of fabic, my machine almost choked on the buttonholes as well, but got through them (barely).

Thank you for your lovely feedback - I do love this jacket and it's so straightforward to make (for a jacket)! It really was a pleasure to sew cashmere too (my first time).

Don't you love sewing with cashmere? Or any decent fabric really ... And your jacket is the same gorgeous colour ( or near enough) as that marvelous Sydney sky! I love your idea of going down to Darling Harbour to photograph it ...

Love the lines on this jacket, which looks great on you. Thanks for the tips; I might just have to get this pattern and try it.

Beautiful color, and the fabric really highlights the interesting seaming. I like it without the collar. The buttons look great, and they hide your machine's tantrum well!
