Wow, that is pretty cool. I made these pants, too, in the long version. I did make sure they fit the crotch and I think they are very flattering on the thin-hipped. But what you did is so cool and interesting. Not something everyone could wear, but it looks great on you. I just used Bemberg myself, for the first time, in that exact same color. How interesting to use it for a garment, rather than just a lining. Very creative!

I read your review (sfshaza) before buying this pattern, and I thought of your comment about the size of the piece while I was cutting on the living room floor! Its a doozy. That alone convinced me to use the thinnest fabric possible. Can you imagine the horror in tweed? Say, this Bemberg comes in alot of great colors, try it for a light top. Thanks for the comments!

Very attractive outfit! I love the color of the fabric and the texture you wash and wear treatment gives it. This isn't a style that is very figure forgiving, but it is perfect for you. Very cool!
